FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Francisco/Chennai, 3 November 2026: Money for Kids, a personal finance education startup for children aged 9 to 14, has adopted Engageli as the online learning platform for its programs. The move takes a curriculum built on games, challenges, activities, and real-life simulations to children beyond the schools it serves in person.
Since 2022, Money for Kids has taught financial education to more than 8,000 students from 42 schools, with a current focus on Tamil Nadu, India. The curriculum covers earnings, savings, expenses, investments, financial risks, insurance, inflation, and financial planning. Children meet each concept through an activity first and define it afterwards.
The company began with offline classes. Moving online raised questions about whether children would stay engaged and keep the fun and interaction at the heart of its approach. Money for Kids chose Engageli for its interactive features, its ability to scale across geographies, and its support for keeping children involved.
Amanta Vency Gladiya, CEO of Money for Kids, said adopting Engageli is “an opportunity to bring our approach to personal finance education to more children across India, while staying true to what Money for Kids stands for: learning that is engaging, experiential, and relevant to a child’s everyday life.”
The company was founded on the view that financial literacy belongs alongside mathematics, science, and languages, and that children should not wait until adulthood to learn it. Money for Kids plans to expand across South India, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Karnataka, through both online and offline programmes.
Summing up the company’s belief, Amanta said: “Because financial literacy isn’t optional. It’s a life skill.”
Money for Kids in India empowers children ages 9–14 to build financial literacy by learning how to manage money, make informed financial decisions, develop smart saving and spending habits, and understand the fundamentals of investing and entrepreneurship. Rather than just teaching financial terminology, financial education typically helps students apply money concepts to everyday life and future careers.
