Using Engageli for effective, engaging learning

DeVry University has been helping working adult learners build better futures for over 90 years, and they knew their students needed more than just lecture-based delivery. They needed authentic engagement.

DeVry partnered with Engageli to bring effective active learning to their online learners. Research consistently shows that active learning
leads to increased interaction and outcomes. That's why Engageli didn't bolt features onto a business conferencing platform. Instead we built our own platform specifically for education - a true digital classroom designed to foster meaningful connections that drive learning outcomes.

To understand the impact of using Engageli, DeVry looked at comprehensive data from approximately 3,000 students taught by 50 professors who consistently used Engageli's full feature set. Student outcomes were compared to data from students who did not use Engageli. The results were clear and measurable.

The findings

• Students who used Engageli for 60+ minutes or more achieved a 95% pass rate, compared to an 88% pass rate for non-Engageli users.
• Net Promoter Score increased by 325 basis points, indicating that students felt more positive about their learning experience.
• DeVry observed a 155 basis points improvement in student persistence when they compared the same professors and courses before and after using Engageli.
